Tom Sochas Trio
Woolwich Works, Beanfeast , SE18 6HD , [Venue Details]Building on the success of a solo EP released in early 2021, pianist Tom Sochas, previously known for his work with London staple Phoenician Blinds, comes to Woolwich Works to play music from his debut trio album The Sorcerer, out on Khumbu Records.
The album, released in April 2022 introduced Tom’s new trio completed by Greek bassist Thodoris Ziarkas and Italian drummer Filippo Galli.
Expect a blend of hard-hitting post-bop and delicate melodies, infused with textural analogue electronics and a couple of very special guests. Not to be missed!
