We have something special this week . A band from the States performing the music of Michael Brecker. The trio Charged Particles are based in the Bay Area round San Francisco and have been going for 30 years releasing their first record in 1994.

Recently they have got together with renowned sax play Tod Dickov to play the music of Michael Brecker and touring the States and the UK to much acclaim.

Dickow is a first-call player on the San Francisco scene and is winner of the Outstanding Soloist Award from Downbeat Magazine. Tod’s playing and composing are powerfully influenced by Michael Brecker. But he is unique in having captured the essence of Michael’s spirit on the instrument, making Tod the perfect artist to perform Michael’s compositions with Charged Particles.
