Marmen Quartet

Formed at the Royal College of Music in 2013, the ensemble has gone on to major competition successes in Bordeaux and Banff. It made its BBC Proms debut in 2021, playing works by Haydn and Robert Simpson.

Here it pairs one of Mozart’s ‘Haydn’ quartets (1783) with Janáček’s highly original Second Quartet (1928).
